Track #3 and #2 below for a bit of The Shazam. But there抯 so much here for
8c5YX *all* pop fans. Yes, The Shazam, Matthew Sweet, The Replacements(at their
V k{;g finest!), The Grays(track #1 below), Terry Anderson or Bill Lloyd(Track #6) and
fo ~uI(rk plenty of more of that where this comes from! Pope started this out seeking the
wm~7`& help of others with this solo reach, but scheduled proved to be tough with
-[=~!Qr: buddies and he ended up playing all the instruments here ?to its great credit,
$a_y-lY it sounds like a band at work here there抯 so much connection of the instruments
n&[CTOV to the material. Big 憃le Talent? You betcha ?in spades.

-8l<5g7 here but there really isn't any filler. Opener "Sky Burn Down" lets you know

$d*9]M4 Pollard-style rocker in both sound and length (2:08). "I Got a Life" is another
9q'&tU'a=c infectious barnburner which recalls both Matthew Sweet and The Who in places,
v#,queGi while "Lost My Friend" and "Playing Nashville" travel in more familiar Edmund's
x;~:p;]J2F Crown territory. "The Only Thing I've Got" also clocks in around 2 minutes, and
U WT%0t_T has a definite Alex-Chilton-by-way-of-Paul-Westerberg vibe. Other standouts
8?Zhh . include the aching Jon Brionesque pop of "Only One You", the jangly "Footpath",
]PS`"o,pF$ the bright Americana-influenced "Little Things", and "Reason With You", another
