P O,mg?JG( *all* pop fans. Yes, The Shazam, Matthew Sweet, The Replacements(at their
CE19V:zp finest!), The Grays(track #1 below), Terry Anderson or Bill Lloyd(Track #6) and
rG _T!']~ plenty of more of that where this comes from! Pope started this out seeking the
XUrxnJ4 help of others with this solo reach, but scheduled proved to be tough with
n:-:LSa+3 buddies and he ended up playing all the instruments here ?to its great credit,
Qb}1t n) it sounds like a band at work here there抯 so much connection of the instruments
n9}3>~ll to the material. Big 憃le Talent? You betcha ?in spades.

here but there really isn't any filler. Opener "Sky Burn Down" lets you know

tw/~z2G Crown territory. "The Only Thing I've Got" also clocks in around 2 minutes, and
G{,X_MZ% has a definite Alex-Chilton-by-way-of-Paul-Westerberg vibe. Other standouts
cg-\|H1 include the aching Jon Brionesque pop of "Only One You", the jangly "Footpath",
9 -\.|5;: the bright Americana-influenced "Little Things", and "Reason With You", another
[f9 U9.fR track that would have fit on nicely on Regrets of a Company Man(Edmund抯 Crown).
