intelligent and catchy songs. "I Think I'm Bleeding" has an "aGmv9\  
underlying country flavour to it. Whilst once again presented # $WnMJ@  
as a happy little song, there is more than a touch of e~vO
 
bitterness in his words. Funnily enough, the rather twee "The <&eJIz=  
Toothbrush Song" would also make a quality country song due to X@~/.H5  
its dry lyrics even if a cowboy would feel the need to pSx5ume95"  
accompany such emotions with bourbon rather than sparkling OTy!Q,0$.

The pace picks up with the title track "Off the Radar" that A}(xH`A  
truly highlights Mr Kerr's pop sensibilities and offsets his @]Q4K%1^"  
laidback vocal delivery with some spirited guitar. Loves lost Zg+.`>z  
and won (mostly lost though? and a sense of reflection on his igu1s}F  
younger years seem a common theme to the songs in this album _`2%)#^o  
and, indeed, regret is once more evident in "Is It Too Late to '(K4@[3t  
Work for NASA" even if it is disguised here with wry humour. dsIbr"m  
If Bluesbunny closes his eyes, on "Mystery Star" Ally Kerr U6JD^G=qR,  
seems to transform himself into Edinburgh master popsters U]Q5};FK  
Dropkick and there are certainly worse things to be than that. 9SC1A-nF  
If Bluesbunny had to pick a favourite track, it would probably d V% o:@Z  
be "Amorino" evoking, as it does, the melancholic pleasures of  (?Ku-k

The thing that impresses most about this album is the songs bdrE2m  
themselves. Well crafted and melodic with sharp and observant FBE|pG7  
lyrics, they are however presented as a whole lot fluffier +Xg:*b9So  
than they actually are. It must be Ally Kerr's choice to do so eC/{c1C  
but it does seem that he is deliberately avoiding giving any AQ-PHv  
kind of offense. Maybe he never gets angry himself - although /KH85/s  
his words suggest otherwise -but Bluesbunny feels that he is b^R:q7 ea  
doing his own songs a disservice here by sprinkling an inch of C:1(<1K  
icing sugar on everything. It is not necessary for everything a`Bp^(f}  
in life to have a cherry on top for it to be appetising. L,zx\cj?z

Overall, this is a happy, upbeat album that is just a bit too L|[i<s;  
polite and well mannered to try and force itself upon your Od.@G~  
affections. The production and arrangements are smoother than w5Fk#zJv  
your average Starbuck's decaf latte but it is perhaps fair 5c5!\g~'  
comment to say that the omnipresent sugar coating will suit Gs#9'3_U5  
his fans. However, and maybe this is a reviewer thing, a bit &>-'|(m+2  
of fire and even some unpredictability would have been @<K<"`~H  
welcome. Then again, the Bluesbunny was always a quadruple yz [pF  
espresso kind of guy. bWL!=
