I9>*Yy5RNS pa-4|)q Y This girl has certainly grown out of the ordinary songs she used to sing, she has shown us the more mature Dewi Sandra, hmm, probably has a lot to do with her being married? Most of the songs in this album proved that she is indeed one of Indonesia's rare R&B singer. We just love her newfound"deep"voice that she used in most songs. Then again, some songs sounded a bit like TLC and other well-known songs, but hey, nobody's perfect, right?You May Have Heard:"Tak Ingin Lagi."Uh-huh, the intro is the one that sounds like"No Scrub,"but after that, it's definitely Yudhi's (the famous rap and R&B songwriter) style that brought out the best of her voice. Dewi tried a hand at writing this song which is not bad at all.We Fancy:"Saat Pertama,"a very sweet song, more pop actually than R&B, except when Dewi does her specific"ooh"and"aaah."When you get to the last song on side A"Peluk Aku"you'll hear a striking resemblance of Krisdayanthi's new song"Jangan Tak Setia."Turns out both songs are by Anang himself. The romantic lyrics and slow tunes show a different Dewi. Another is"Ooh,"the English song, the way she sings it, just nice.We're Not Sure About:The song"Bawa Daku."Nothing wrong with this one actually, except it's too simple, and not R&B-ish.Verdict:Nice songs, cute album cover. R&B fans should get it. Dewi Sandra will be the perfect addition to your collection. Well, it's not exactly perfect, but a great improvement after several failing attempts from other artists that called themselves R&B singers.
