簡介：

書生萬文通（郭晉安）生性聰明，父萬年仁乃一儉樸石匠，母親賢慧，連同舅母德福與表妹李大妹（梅小惠）過著簡樸的鄉間生活，平時來往者有生性木讷的包金（歐陽震華）及王潤發（羅君左）。一日，文通於水中邂逅美豔少女胡芊芊（鄧萃雯），乃念念不忘，原來女子乃狐精所化，取名古月，出入風塵，勾引男子以供母胡聶（胡美儀）練功，但小狐仙對通卻情有獨鍾。文通有未婚妻柳姿（藍潔瑛），兩人緣悭一面，通逃婚至京，結識皇親江山（吳岱融）成爲莫逆。時姿千裏尋通，未及表明心迹，已客死異鄉，化爲倩鬼，乃護通免受狐精所惑。通對姿情愫漸生，芊生妒，遂化作村姑，接近文通，從而展開一段淒厲之人鬼狐戀。
