'42$O to play the guitar. When she was about 15, she wrote her

FiiDmhu Polydor Records.

\wA:58 -j her first album Joyful in January 2006 in the New York
-%"PqA/1zj Sony studio. The whole disc was recorded in just five
V_gKl;Kfe8 days under live conditions, with a group of musicians

z$ organized by her producer Jay Newland. The album was
~i;{+j6Ho! released in June 2006 in Europe and Korea and in November
c$ZV vu 2007 in the United States and Japan.
-sQ[ f18 *"w hup[ At the end of 2007 Ayo. started a concert tour through
Z,#H\1v3lB Germany and the United States. On her American tour she
cp(q aa performed with Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds. On 10 January

" 2008 she appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman,

and on January 26, 2008 the Late Late Show with Craig
ffmtTJFC5 Ferguson, performing her song Down on My Knees. In June

_aPAn|. album Gravity At Last at the Compass Point Studios in
:/ |"db&` Nassau on the Island of New Providence, The Bahamas. She

Tv:a includes Keith Christopherson (bass), Larry Campbell
t 6nRg (guitars and other string instruments), Lucky Peterson
