    臺版大河劇《斯卡羅》必知5大重點：美國首次攻臺，壹段被遺忘的臺灣生命故事......
  《斯卡羅》故事背景發生在1867年，美國商船「羅妹號」在臺灣恆春半島南端發生船難，船員因為誤闖排灣族領地而遭到殺害，造成【羅妹號事件】。這起事件引發美國出兵攻打臺灣，清廷亦派出五百大軍南下，各種外來勢力對在地原住民部落、平埔聚落及移墾的閩、客莊人帶來衝突與震盪，並讓臺灣躍上國際舞臺。最後由美國駐廈門領事李仙得與斯卡羅大股頭卓杞篤（Tou-ke-tok）正式簽訂「南岬之盟」書面協議後，始告落幕。這段150多年前的歷史，鮮為人知，卻影響深遠，改變了臺灣的命運。這段歷史不只與外國勢力在臺的利益有極大的關聯性，也深深影響清朝時期臺灣的國際局勢。
